Clutha Gold is an excellent main crop apricot, cross between a Sundrop and a Moorpark. It is a large, oval apricot with very good eating quality. Flesh is firm but melting, with very good flavour. Skin is orange with a lovely red blush. Produces beautiful clean fruit that ripens two weeks after Sundrop and just before Moorpark.

Moorpark are beautiful old fashioned freestone heritage variety with superb flavour, medium to large in size. Skin is deep yellow with an orange blush that’s fuzz-free. The soft and juicy flesh of Moorpark allows the fruit to be suitable for fresh eating, bottling or drying. The skin will often be blemished or cracked. Easily the best eating apricot in creation... its traditions and Central Otago heritage are so rich we have branded our Orchard on it!

Royal Rosa is an early, freestone apricot with firm tasty gold flesh, yellow skin with a red blush.
One of our favourites, supermarket sundrops often too firm, when tree ripened they are sensational. Large oval, yellow-skinned fruit that are freestone with sweet and juicy flesh that ripens over a long season. Can be eaten fresh or used for preserving.
