THE QUEEN OF ALL! This berry fruit has been eaten for at least 3000 years in the Middle East. Originally from China and Persia and grown for their leaves for silkworms.  Sweet, juicy, red to black fruit with intense succulent flavour, the flour is unlike any other berry fruit. Grown on a large tree, not a bush containing Vitamins C, K, B and E, potassium, magnesium iron and fibre.  Contains anti-inflammatory properties, The leaves were used in ancient Chinese medicine and may have antibacterial properties, useful in diabetic treatment of high blood pressure.
